Announcements, a vote & a link to a really naught excerpt
Dear Reader,
I have a few announcements to make.
- My goal is to have Fire & Brimstone out before the end of the summer.
- The website was set to deliver the Chronicles and posts once a month so those of you have subscribed to this website haven’t been seeing all the Chronicles, naughty excerpts and teasers and for that I apologize, because that was definitely my fault. I was trying to limit how many times you would have to see me editing pages.
- The R rated excerpt that Necie made me share with you is HERE. So, if you missed the latest teaser from Fire & Brimstone you can now see it.
- All of the Chronicles and teasers that you may have been missing can be found by hitting the Chronicle button above. You’ll find a list of recent blog posts on the right of that page. They are labeled to let you know if it’s a Chronicle or an excerpt.
- I need to pick a song that is going to be Rebecca’s favorite song in Fire & Brimstone, yes, it’s important. So, I am putting a selection here. Please let me know which one you like the best by putting the number in a comment. You can do this on Facebook as well.
- I am working on getting the rest of the books into print as well as editing the old ones to clean them up (not removing naughty parts!) and make them smoother reads.
- I don’t have a 7th item to announce. I just wanted to do this, because I may in fact be bored.

My personal favorite is Sam Hunt but I think it depends on how it is used #4 might fit a lot easier into the story.

If she longs for someone to see her like he sees the girl in the song, want her, need her, see her as necessary I’d say Sam Hunt 100%
If she’s feeling sassy, sexy, and like she dangles the world on a string then I’d go with the Darius Rucker.
For sheer catchiness of the tune, devilish and love ’em and leave ’em wanting more I’d go with the Brothers Osborne tune.
I agree that it depends on what you want her favorite song to represent for her. Is it just a song she likes singing along to or does it represent more of a story? Because Homegrown Honey is really catchy and I could see her singing/dancing along, rocking out to it in the car or at home. Letting off steam from her stressful job with Lucifer. 🙂 But Stay A Little Longer, at least from what I read in the excerpts, seems to represent maybe some of what has been going on between Lucifer and Rebecca over the years – the back and forth feelings. Music is a great outlet, and when you find a song that you identify with, that expresses what you are going through-its’s almost liberating. It would be awesome if we had soundtracks for our lifes.

Wow, love all the songs but going by the teasers and the story I would go with #4 stay a little longer. Listening to the words it would fit the characters in fire and brimstone I think the best. But #3 would be second choice.
#4 would be my first pick. Followed closely by #1
Based on what I’ve read in the teasers it could either be #2 or #4 depending on when in the story line it is revealed. If it’s the “driving each other nuts” part than #2. If it’s the “can’t keep our hands off each other” part thanumber #4.

Girl, is it evil that I’m looking at the votes and cracking up that there is no clear winner? You really should write individual books for each of us, it’s the only fair solution. I’m very sorry that it will have to become the sole purpose of your life, but hey, sometimes talent is pain.
As for the song, lol still chuckling, good luck with that. I say eat some chocolate, drink something fizzy, and then do eenie meenie.
Wait, what about sleep? Don’t I need sleep?
Wellll…. that’s where the fizzy drinks come in! I chaperoned a multiday 6th grade field trip at a special needs camp supported mostly by bug spray and coca cola. If you’re hopped up on canned, fizzy goodness, you can rule the world. I have faith in you! Lol

It depends on where Rebecca is at the time. As you know we women can change our minds minute by minute. Each song relays a different meaning so she could actually have each one be her favorite song at a different part of the book.
1. Sam Hunt- Take your time: because she’s wanting time with Lucifer, not necessarily just for sex but just a little time here and there. Because he heart is yearning to be close to him.
2.Darius Rucker- Homegrown girl: because she’s feels just flirty and feels free.
3. Chris Young – Lonely Eyes: because she sees Lucifer’s lonely eyes and feels like she wants to reach that place in him where she can take that loneliness away and won’t see that loneliness, that he’s trying to hide, anymore.
4. Brothers Osborne- Stay a little Longer: if they’ve had sex but she’s not ready to make a commitment, but can’t quite let go of him yet. She’s feeling addicted to him. But we know they’ll be together in the end.
Love Brothers Osborne #4.
I’m not really familiar with country music, so it possible to add a 5th option? A song by Ed Sheeran, perhaps?? If not, I vote for #1.
Well, I can’t choose between #3 and #4. I like the sound and lyrics of #3, but I like the beat of #4. But…erm…let’s go with #3! For some reason, that just feels more Rebeccay, although how I could possibly determine that, I don’t know. You would know since you’re the author and know know her best, haha.

I liked #4 but when I think about it the title of #2 fits with the Bradfords they are Homegrown honey.
